2-3 weeks to respond due to graduation and other end-of-the-year activities.

Hello Class of 2029!

We, at Berkeley High School, are excited to invite the Class of 2029 to
your 9th Grade Orientation.

WHEN: Friday, August 8

Last Names &  Time

   -

   A - K 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
   -

   L - Z 12:30-3:30 PM

WHERE: Donahue Gym Bleachers (enter at Milvia & Bancroft aka the M-Gate)

WHO: The entire Class of 2029 and all Link Crew Leaders

WHY: Link Leaders, who are 10th, 11th and 12th graders, want to make sure
that you get a fun and successful start to high school.

The 3-hour orientation will consist of small group sessions facilitated by
Link Leaders, a campus tour and mandatory photo ID session, a student club
fair, and optional actions to request hall lockers or complete the EZ Meal
Application <https://secure.ezmealapp.com/>.

Be sure to arrive on time for your assigned time

Nevertheless, if you arrive more than 60 minutes late, please wait for the
next rotation unless it is the last rotation at 11:30 am.

We want to make sure that this meeting is AWESOME so we need your help.
Please do the following:

• Wear comfortable clothing and shoes for moving around during the campus
tour.

• Wear preferred clothing for your student ID card photo

• Bring a backpack if you would like, but they are NOT required. You will
NOT receive any textbooks on this day, but the Ecology Center sometimes
passes out a stainless steel water bottle.

We are so excited to see you...be sure you come since it won’t be the same
without you! If you have any questions, email me back and I’ll be happy to
help you.

If you cannot attend orientation, there will be a makeup photo day on
Tuesday, August 12 from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. Please also refer to this

NOTE: If you are NO LONGER planning to attend Berkeley High School in the
Fall 2025, please contact marieferguson at berkeley.net to let her know.

Eventually, there will be more Back-to-School Week information on the main
