Hello BHS community,

We are so grateful for the community support for the library through BSEP,
BHSDG, and other programs. This funding enables us to offer a robust,
impactful independent reading program. This program is focused on 9th and
10th grade but also includes many 11th and 12th grade classes. We checked
out a total of 10,376 library books this year! (and the year isn't over!).

WE NEED YOUR HELP! 1,500 library books need to be returned to the BHS
library.

Please look around your house, ask your student, and send in those books
ASAP. They are valued at about $30,000 in district resources, and we cannot
afford to replace all of these books. If a student can't find their book at
home, you can pay a replacement fee using the directions on the BHS Library
Website <https://sites.google.com/berkeley.net/bhslibrary/pay-a-book-fine>.
