Incoming 9th Grade* BHS Athletics Team Informational Meeting

Wednesday, May 21, 6:30PM in the Donahue Gymnasium


BHS will host an informational meeting for incoming 9th graders and
parent/guardians only.* Come learn about participating in any of the 54
teams (Varsity, JV, Freshmen, and Novice), how to get cleared for tryouts
online over the summer so you are ready for Fall/Winter/Spring seasons, and
summer conditioning opportunities. Many coaches will be in attendance to
share info about their programs. After a brief presentation, you will be
able to meet the coaches (kind of like a job fair). Note: it's impossible
to avoid conflicts this time of year. We will post the notes to our website
following the presentation for those unable to attend.

Many teams workout in the summer. Fall sports specifically do a lot of
conditioning over the summer to get ready for tryouts. Fall teams will be
there to share this information.

in the Fall. California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) bylaws state that
any student who is not currently registered is not allowed to have
