Imports and Hammerling Winery, entertainment by the BHS Jazz Band, and an
engaging talk exploring teen wellness with specific ideas for how
parents/guardians can engage with and support their teens during what feels

Our Speakers:
Christopher Pepper <https://www.mrhealthteacher.com/> is a health advocate,
writer, and award-winning teacher. He's passionate about equipping young
people with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate adolescence.
Pepper writes the bestselling Substack Teen Health Today
<https://www.teenhealthtoday.com/> and is the co-author of the upcoming
book Talk to Your Boys <https://www.talktoyourboys.com/>, which explores
modern masculinity, communication, and well-being.
Ruth Whippma <https://www.ruthwhippman.com/>n is a British journalist and
essayist living in the United States. Her work appears in the New York
Times, The Guardian and elsewhere. She is the author of the books America
the Anxious (St Martin's Press 2016) and Boymom, Reimagining Boyhood in the
Age of Impossible Masculinity (Penguin 2024). She is a regular commentator
on radio and podcasts, and writes the Substack I Blame Society

This event is a community fundraiser to benefit Berkeley High School,
Berkeley Independent Studies (9-12) and Berkeley Technology Academy.
Tickets are $150, with all proceeds going directly to support vital
