The short version goes like this: The Kesslers bought this house, brand new, directly from Hans Christiansen (designer/builder) in 1956 as a young couple in their early 30s. Hans told the young couple that he named the street after his son & daughter (Don & Carol). After 60+ years of excellent stewardship, Mr. Kessler (now in his 90s & is a hoot) has decided it is time to pass the torch!
