Learn about our new Carpentry and Digital Design classes. Throughout the course of the year, students in the carpentry program will be engaged in a variety of individual and group projects, exercises and readings to build up their skills in construction, design and critical problem solving. This will include traditional methods of building with hand tools as well as cutting edge digital fabrication and modeling tools. Students will also be exposed to the range of career opportunities across the fields of fabrication, design and construction. Emphasis will be on hands-on projects that have constraints to guide their design but allow for individual creativity.</span></p>

This course introduces students to LGBTQIA+ (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, asexual, intersex, etc.) literature and culture. It is a yearlong course with English credit and elective credit (pending). You don't have to be part of the LGBTQIA+ community to enroll- come learn about experiences outside your own! We are also looking for students who would be interested in participating in a student exchange to Sakai and other parts of Japan in July 2020.
