</span></b><span style="font-size: 12pt;">As we’re sure you are aware, paying for college has become a major challenge for our students. For several years, BHSDG has given small scholarships to low-income seniors at BHS/BTA who have enrolled in a four year
college (for Dreamers, a two year college qualifies.) This year, we received 74 applications from students whose expected family contribution on the FAFSA is $2,000 or less. At our Board meeting on Monday, May 7th, we voted to allocate enough funds to give
each of those students a $750 scholarship. We will present the scholarships to awardees at the BHS awards ceremony on May 23rd - join us in celebrating their accomplishments!</span></span></p>

</span></b><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This month, Mr. V, head of student leadership programs at BHS, told us what he and the student leadership team had been dreaming up: an all-school carnival, with games, and food trucks, and all kinds of fun, to promote
student unity and positivity. We <b>granted $5650</b> to pay for things like inflatable obstacle courses and other activities….. Stay tuned for announcements seeking parent volunteers to help out with the event!</span></span></p>
