concert by presenting “REDEMPTION

with performance of traditional African dance forms, which include Kasonde –
Balanta male initiation dance and Kakilambe (the mask), and Ethiopian dance
forms, as well as more contemporary fare with Ms. Carr’s modern
dance class, hip hop, Cuban Salsa, Haitian, praise
dance, spoken word of the urban
griots/historians/rappers. W<wbr>ith pieces choreographed by
both teachers and students, this is certainly not a performance to be
missed! <span></span></span></p>
