Special Education Department (part of BUSD) will be offering an LGBTQ+ Support Group for all students who might be interested.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:white"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#222222">The group is intended to be a safe space for students who identify under the LGBTQ+ umbrella and to have the opportunity to meet other students of their
community who go through similar experiences as well as to learn about topics and issues including mental health issues, issues such as coming out, exploring self-identity, and other factors that could be affecting students.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:white"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#222222">The group will be co-facilitated by 3 mental health and special education counselors and will start on Friday, February 23rd and will run every Friday
during 4th period. It will take place at G104-H. Students can just show up to the group but it would be good for them to let their teachers know that they will be going to the group so that they do not get marked absent. Also, students who are interested can
come to the health center to get an appointment reminder which also serves as a pass to miss their class.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
