required. JazzGirls Day is intended for girls who want to play or sing jazz or just to explore playing or singing jazz. There are women role models and girls can fit in and look like everyone else in the room. They can share stories of what it is like to be
a minority and how to overcome stereo types and gain a sense of empowerment and assurance that they too can be a jazz musician. These kinds of events help reduce anxiety and show girls what is possible in a welcoming and supportive way. Come out and explore,
get inspired, gain confidence and break into the genre!</span></p>
