<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;line-height:normal">Flu season is coming and the Berkeley High School Health Center (BHSHC)
is offering <b><u>FREE FLU SHOTS for ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS</u></b>.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;line-height:normal"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;line-height:normal">Any 9th-12th grader enrolled in Berkeley High School (BHS), Berkeley
Technical Academy (BTA), or Independent Study, regardless of whether or not
they have medical insurance, can get a flu shot. Following CDC guidelines, we
are not offering nasal vaccine spray (for more information, visit: <a href="http://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2016/s0622-laiv-flu.html" target="_blank">http://www.cdc.gov/media/<wbr>releases/2016/s0622-laiv-flu.<wbr>html</a>)</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;line-height:normal">A <b>Health Center Consent Form and Flu Consent Form</b> (both are
attached to this announcement) must be filled out by the parent before the
student can receive the flu shot. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;line-height:normal">The BHS Health Center is open Monday to Friday 8:30-4pm and we are
closed 4th period.</p>

those with chronic illnesses such as asthma, diabetes, heart diseases, and
kidney disorders. Caregivers of children and pregnant women are also strongly
recommended to get their flu vaccine as well.</i></p>

only. For Parents and Staff looking for free flu shots in the community, The <b>Ann
Chandler Public Health Clinic</b> will host their free flu shot clinic starting
Monday September 26th. These free flu shot clinics are open to the community
and will take place only on <b>Mondays from 9-11am and 1-4pm</b>. Location: 830
