working with Principal Sam Pasarow on</span></p>

overall educational program direction in the school site plan, </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial">- the <b>BHS BSEP Site Committee</b>, where you advise on
expenditure of site discretionary funds, and/or </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial">- the <b>District BSEP Planning and Oversight Committee</b>,
where you work with other parents from across Berkeley to look at how BSEP
funds are spent district-wide.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial">We need you!<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Please
use this form and nominate yourself right away - and tell your friends - we
need 6 people for School Site Council, 7 for Site Committee, and 6 for the
P&O Committee. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>These committees meet
once or twice a month, and it's a great way to learn more about what's going on
at BHS and contribute to thoughtful decision-making, working with parents,
staff and students.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial">Principal Pasarow was hoping to have all nominations
completed by this Thursday October 1st, and then introduce everyone at his all-school
parent meeting on October 6th. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>It's
going to be a big year at BHS and in the District, with major educational
decisions to be made. <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Be a part of the
