the Friday, September 18<sup>th</sup>, victory over Castlemont, the Oakland
Raiders chose Berkeley High’s varsity football coach Clarence Johnson (aka

received the news on Tuesday, September 22, that he had been chosen to receive
the honor, and Monday afternoon two of the Raiders players and two cheerleaders
came to Berkeley High to honor Coach Johnston and hand him a giant check.</span><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:"Times New Roman""></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11pt;font-family:Arial">The “Coach
of the Week” program provides teams with financial assistance to maintain their
football programs. As this week’s recipient, Berkeley High School was awarded a
$1,000 donation to the school’s football program from The Oakland Raiders and
the NFL Foundation.</span></p>
