<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">While I don't yet know which poets will read that day, the program always features male and female poets, writers of varied writing styles, writers of varied performance styles, and readers
who are people of color.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">I will need volunteers from 8:45 am or so (to set up tables and chairs, and to be trained on the event protocol) until 11:45 am (to return chairs and tables to their usual positions). In years
past, some poets have given volunteers copies of books and they are usually available before the readings.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Primary duties for the volunteers include:<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">1. moving chairs and tables<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">2. ushering classes to their seats.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">3. modeling what a good audience looks like (thus no cell phones).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">I would love to have four or five volunteers for that morning.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
