in
time for the holidays, here's some cheerful news...<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span
style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Our
attendance
continues to improve. This month we hit <b>94.5%</b> --
a milestone for BHS. In previous Decembers we hadn't been able
to reach
out of the cellar of 92% - 93%. A colorful chart with this (and
other) data is attached.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span
style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">There's
still
much more to do, of course. BHS will continue to focus efforts
on
reducing the number of unexcused absences. The time has also
come to
begin tackling the issue of -- gulp -- students with chronic
tardies.
Expect more news on this when we return in 2014. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
