This year's PSAT will be given at Berkeley High on Saturday, Oct. 19
from 8 a.m. to approximately 11:30 a.m. It is a practice SAT for
Sophomores and Juniors. Juniors who score very well may become
eligible for National Merit Scholarships and African American
Juniors with high scores may receive academic recognition, which may
also lead to scholarships.<br>

The fee for the test is $20. Juniors who receive free or reduced
lunch pay $5. There are no fee waivers for Sophomores. <br>
<br>
Sign-ups for Juniors are Sept 16-20 and for Sophomores, sign-ups are
Sept. 23-27. Students will sign-up at the Donahue Gym ticket windows
during lunch (11:40 - 12:15) and after school to 4 p.m. Payment may
be cash, check or money order (checks should be made out to Berkeley
