Wa Sung Community Service Club Merit
Award Scholarship program:<br>
Numerous $1,000 scholarships will be
awarded. Qualifications include<br>
being a graduating senior of Asian
descent, and awardees will be based<br>
upon individual scholastic
achievement, involvement in<br>
extra-curricular activities, work experience,
community service and financial need.<br>

and must be postmarked<br>
on or before April 2, 2013.<br>

Italian American Federation of the
East Bay: Requirements include<br>
being a senior of Italian ancestry
and graduating from a high school<br>
in the East Bay. Applicants will be
evaluated by the following factors: Their<br>
scholastic record, activity and
other evidence of leadership and<br>
character, recommendations from faculty, and a
personal statement. Applications are<br>
available in the College/Career
Center, and the deadline is April 30.<br>
Splawn Scholarship: Requirements
include demonstration of financial<br>
need, minimum 2.6 GPA, and
demonstration of paid or unpaid employment,<br>
community<br>

service and/or extracurricular
activities. Students who have extraordinary<br>
circumstances in their lives as well
as students who may not have the<br>
chance to attend college without
financial assistance are encouraged<br>

Ann & Jon Reynolds Scholarship
Awards* (Seniors): These scholarships<br>
will be awarded to the successful
applicants at $3,000 per year. Two<br>
awardees will be selected. The
eligibility criteria includes a record<br>
of community service involvement, a
minimum GPA of 3.0, native born<br>
U.S. citizen, and submission of a
Student Aid Report Summary from<br>
Federal Student Aid Program.
Applications are available in the College<br>
and Career Center. Application
deadline is April 30, 2013.<br>

NCGA Foundation: Youth on
Course is a program of the NCGA Foundation.<br>
Through the YOC, deserving youth
have the opportunity to develop life<br>
skills and values through golf.
Youth who have never had exposure to<br>
the game haven access to clinics,
on-course play, internship<br>
opportunities and scholarships.
Applicants must meet the requirements<br>
of a minimum 3.0 GPA, and acceptance
to a four-year<br>
college/university. For
