BHS students and two non-students were involved. BHS safety staff intervened as did our School Resource Officer from BPD and BHS administrators. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>There were no injuries, and the BHS students involved have been identified and will be given appropriate consequences. One non-student was arrested after refusing to leave the area despite being asked to do so by both BPD and BHS staff.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Traffic on Milvia was briefly obstructed, and while we are still investigating the exact cause of the situation, the scene was chaotic enough that I felt we should give parents and staff a general sense of what occurred.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>I would also like to commend our Campus Monitor who did a great job of identifying the situation and calling for the appropriate support.
