Each campus will then ask students to create an account in a second email. This has to be done for each campus separately. It is important that students check these accounts regularly for updates on their admission status. Some CSU’s will also ask students to forward an official transcript right away. To be eligible for this scholarship, which awards a minimum of $500, you must be an African American senior with a minimum GPA of 2.5 intending to attend a four-year accredited college, two-year community college, or an accredited business school. You will turn in an application including a personal essay, letter of recommendation, high school transcripts, and a photo of yourself. Finalists will be interviewed and will deliver a short oral presentation and are expected to be able to demonstrate knowledge about Lewis Latimer.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></DIV>

This program provides students with the opportunity to work together creatively to solve problems while learning what engineers can do to improve society. It also gives them a taste of university life as they stay in residence halls, eat meals at campus and neighboring dining facilities and take part in fun afternoon and evening.
