size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">The powerhouse BHS Jazz Ensemble, Lab Band
and award-winning small combos perform at the Berkeley Repertory Theater on
Sunday, March 13<SUP>th</SUP> from 11:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. in a much needed benefit
for the BHS music program that will help support a DOUBLING in the number of
students in the jazz program that occurred over the last year. Attendees
will sip wine, feast on a lunch prepared by Poulet and bid on exquisite items at
a silent auction. Money raised for the music program is used to bring in
professional mentors for sections of instruments, to provide scholarship
assistance for private lessons and to defray the cost of instrument
rental. </SPAN></FONT></FONT><FONT size=3><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt"><FONT
face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"> <o:p></o:p></FONT></SPAN></FONT!></DIV>
<P class=MsoNormal><FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=2><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt">For two years in a row the Jazz Ensemble has been ranked
the top high school band nationwide at the Monterey Jazz Festival high school
competition, and it is one of only 12 bands invited to compete this year.
Its two combos were among only six invited back. </SPAN></FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt"><FONT face=Arial>Tickets are
$40 gen. admission, $25 12 & under, and $75 for community patrons, whose
