*Support BUSD families with your donation to the Holiday Gift Card Fund*

BUSD's Office of Family Engagement and Equity asks for your support of our
annual Holiday Gift Card program. We are almost halfway to our goal! Thank
you for your generous support of BUSD families. This program provides extra
financial support during the holidays to families at every school in BUSD.
Our goal is to raise $25,000 to provide $50 gift cards to 500 BUSD families.

*The Office of Family Engagement and the Parent Resource Center work with
many unaccompanied and unhoused minors who will be overjoyed to know that
the community is thinking about them and supporting them during the
holidays.*

*PE @ the Y*
Spring 2025: January 13th ? May 2nd

This is an alternative P.E. program designed to help students obtain the
values and
habits that lead to lifelong fitness. Students have to complete a minimum
of 60
fitness hours (combination of independent workouts and in person fitness
classes)
and additional program requirements to earn a passing grade to receive 5
credits
toward Berkeley High School P.E. requirement. *This program is for 9th ?
12th grade students.*

Students are eligible to register for the Spring ?25 Program if they:

   - Passed Fall ?24 PE @ the Y Program

*OR*

   - Attend 1 informational meeting via zoom and have an active Berkeley Y
   teen/young adult membership



*A membership is required to register and participate in the program.PE @
the Y Program Fee: $30.*




*Informational Meetings via Zoom ? only 1 meeting is requiredDates: January
8th, 9th, and 14thTime: 4:00pm-4:30pm*Join Info Meeting: Spring '25

   - Cost $34/month Teen (ages 13-17); $40/month Young Adult (ages 18-26)

meeting.No additional informational meetings will be offered. Spring
