*Berkeley High School Development Group Monthly Board Meeting*
*Monday, August 28** from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the College and Career
Center*
*Are you looking for a way to stay informed about what is happening at
Berkeley High School?*
*Do you want to hear directly from school personnel about the incredible
programs and support systems available at Berkeley HIgh School? *
*Do you want to be part of a highly organized and functional organization? *
*Are you interested in joining with a group of engaged and committed
parents to support the education of all students at Berkeley High School?*
*Are you curious about the different ways to be involved at Berkeley High
School? *
If you answered yes to any of the questions, please join us for the first
meeting of the year of the *Berkeley High School Development Group. *BHSDG is
an independent nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation founded in 1991 by a group
of parent volunteers to ensure the quality and excellence of Berkeley High
School. Our mission is to support and strengthen the educational experience
for all students by raising and distributing funds.
BHSDG provides funding for many important programs throughout Berkeley High
School, Berkeley Technology Academy, and Independent Studies, including:
- free after-school tutoring open to all students by classroom teachers
in multiple subjects
- classroom supplies grants for all teachers
- professional development
- college application and testing fees
- technology hardware, software, and training
This month's meeting is Monday August 28 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm in the College
and Career Center at Berkeley High School. *The **agenda includes a
short presentation by Principal Coleman, discussions on monthly grant
requests, and general updates.* Please email (info at bhsdevelopmentgroup.org)
