Berkeley High School Development Group - Spring Match Campaign!



The Berkeley High School Development Group is excited to announce our
annual SPRING CHALLENGE MATCH CAMPAIGN of $20,000! This challenge grant
will double your contribution to BHSDG, up to $20,000, if you donate by May
28th!



We appreciate those of you who have already donated this year, and hope
that you will be able to make an additional contribution. For those of you
who have not yet had a chance, now is the perfect opportunity. Our goal is
to raise $40,000 with your participation at any level.

BHSDG funds essential programs, materials, and training at BHS, Berkeley
Technology Academy, and Berkeley Independent Studies. Some of this year’s
highlights include:

   Free after-school tutoring staffed by classroom teachers
   -

   Financial assistance with college application and testing fees
   -

   Field trips to local colleges for intervention students
   -

   Professional development to support the Universal Ninth Grade and
   technology certification
   -

   Mental health training for counselors and students
   -

   Enrichment opportunities including the Student-Led Fashion Show, the BHS
   Film Fest, and the Climate Showcase
   -

   Community-building events such as the Carnival, the Prom, and the
   BTA/BIS Garden Celebration
