Please do not reply to this message. If you have any questions, please
contact Tammy Rose, Vice Principal at tammyrose at berkeley.net.

*Let the fun begin! Spring Carnival: Thursday, May 18, 2023 *

*1:40 p.m -3:33 p.m *

*Basketball/Athletic Plaza Area *

*(All other areas on campus will be closed for the carnival until 3:33
p.m.) *

*Berkeley High School *

*Carnival Norms and Student Expectations:*

   - Be Safe and have fun by following staffs’ directions.
   - Be Respectful, kind, and patient.
   - Be Safe, as on any school day, drugs, alcohol, and weapons are not
   permitted on campus.
   - If you leave the carnival early there is no re-entry back into the
   carnival area.
   - Consequences for not following BHS Carnival expectations could result
in suspension from school or further disciplinary actions.

*Bag Check:*

All bags (backpacks, tote bags, duffle, sports bags) will be checked into
the M-gym before students enter the carnival area. *Berkeley High School is
not responsible for any lost or damaged items brought inside of the
carnival area.

We highly recommend that you hold onto all valuables on your person and do
not set things down.

If you have a locker we encourage you to leave your bag in your LOCKED
locker.

**Please do not leave bags in your classroom. The carnival ends at 3:33 p.m
and ALL classrooms will be locked and inaccessible during the Carnival.
Staff will be supervising the carnival and cannot open classrooms. *

You will receive more information in class from your teachers about the
carnival and expectations.

*Attending the BHS Carnival is a privilege, so students must maintain a
high standard of attendance and behavior leading up to the carnival or they
risk having this privilege revoked and being required to go home instead of
attending the carnival. *

Thank you,

Ms. Rose

Vice Principal
