Dear BHS Parents/Guardians,
You are invited to a Youth Mental Health First Aid Training! The training will be held in the Berkeley High School Library (1980 Allston Way) on Saturday May 13 from 8:30-3:30pm. Light breakfast will be served starting at 8am and lunch will be provided.
Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) teaches adults how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health challenges in youth. This training gives adults the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to youth, and connect them to the appropriate care
You can register for the training here <https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfz9wHIs9xYNbsD8BR2LMpx0IX6iA6KVQlBa_BCRX0hQ_3daQ/viewform>. If you need child care during the event, please contact Rosina Keren (RosinaKeren at berkeley.net <mailto:RosinaKeren at berkeley.net>) by May 5, 2023. Child Care provided by BUSD staff.
For additional information about the training, contact Zar Saporito at zsaporito at acoe.org <mailto:zsaporito at acoe.org>
Thanks,
Rachel
