Lorraine Avila is coming to Berkeley High! Her dynamic debut novel The
Making of Yolanda La Bruja

center stage, as Lorriane reads from and talks about her work. Meeting
young authors and hearing first hand about their craft and process is an
exciting part of being a student at Berkeley High School.

Help us support the amazing authors who volunteer their time with our youth
by buying a copy of the book.

Mrs. Dalloways is offering a 15% discount

Ms. Avila will be signing copies on May 10th after her talk. You can
purchase a book for your student (or yourself!) or one to donate to the BHS
library or a classroom library.

If your student is not in one of the attending classes but would like to
attend please let us know and the library can provide permission slips.
