*BHS Jazz is being honored on KCSM Jazz 91.1 FM radio*. See below and take
a few minutes out of your day to enjoy an interview on KCSM, with Sarah
Cline and student musician Luke De Valpine, celebrating the BHS Jazz
program.


*Monday, April 24 – JITA @ 2pm – SALUTE TO THE BERKELEY HIGH SCHOOL JAZZ
BAND*

>From KCSM: The BHS Jazz Band is one of the crown jewels of Bay Area Jazz
Education and as part of Jazz Appreciation Month we salute this honorable
program which has produced a plethora of todays’ jazz stars. Joining Jesse
‘Chuy’ Varela will be current BHS band director, Sarah Cline, and Luke De
Valpine, a trombonist with the BHS band, who will be a guest DJ playing
selections from his favorite jazz trombonists.
