Dear Parents/Guardians,

As we approach the final weeks of the school year, I want to remind you of
the importance of attendance for your child's academic success. Regular
attendance is critical to ensuring that your child is on track to meet
their academic goals and be prepared for the next grade level or college
and career.

Here are some tips to help support your child's attendance:

   1.

Set a routine: Establish a regular schedule for your child, including
consistent wake-up times and bedtimes, to help them maintain healthy habits
and stay focused on their studies.
   2.

Check in with their counselor: If your child is struggling with their
academic performance, remind them to check in with their counselor to
   discuss options of support.
   3.

Encourage participation: Encourage your child to participate in
extracurricular activities and school events to help them feel more engaged
   in their school community.
   4.

Monitor attendance and grades: Please monitor your child's attendance
and grades on Infinite Campus on a weekly basis. If you need assistance
accessing Infinite Campus, please contact our parent resource center at
leticiaamezcua at berkeley.net or by calling (510) 644-8524.
   5.

Please remember that guardians have 5 days to excuse absences by
   emailing attendanceoffice at berkeley.net

As a reminder, regular attendance is required by California law, and
excessive absences or tardies can result in negative consequences for your
child's academic progress. We want to ensure that your child has the
opportunity to succeed, and we appreciate your partnership in supporting
their attendance.

Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Cassandra Tesch

Estimados padres/tutores:

   leticiaamezcua at berkeley.net o llamando al (510) 644-8524.
   5.

ausencias enviando un correo electrónico a attendanceoffice at berkeley.net

Atentamente,

Cassandra Tesch
