Hello BHS Families,


We hope all of our families are doing well during this time.


Throughout the school year, our staff engage in both small groups and
staff-wide professional development (PD) opportunities. These are spaces
where we continuously reflect on our practices in support of student
success.


For all staff PD days, we always try to welcome our educators with a meal,
sometimes breakfast and other times lunch. Back on October 10th, our BHS
families contributed an amazing breakfast spread that made it possible for
our staff to start the morning in community while we enjoyed food and music
played by a few staff members.


We have one final staff-wide PD day this coming Monday, March 6th and we'd
like to ask if any families are willing and able to contribute to our
breakfast.


Unlike the last PD, this will be more of a "grab and go" meal so we're
asking for coffee, juice, and/or any breakfast items that are easy to
handle like donuts, muffins, croissants, etc.

We ask that parents/guardians bringing an item drop it off at the BHS Main
Office at the corner of Milvia and Allston between 7:15-7:45am on Monday,
March 6th. An Administrator will be on hand to welcome you and receive your
contribution.

Esperamos que todas nuestras familias estén bien durante este tiempo.

A lo largo del año escolar, nuestro personal participa tanto en grupos
pequeños como en oportunidades de desarrollo profesional (PD) para todo el
personal. Estos son espacios donde reflexionamos continuamente sobre
nuestras prácticas en apoyo del éxito de los estudiantes.


Para todos los días de PD del personal, siempre tratamos de dar la
bienvenida a nuestros educadores con una comida, a veces desayuno y otras
veces almuerzo. El 10 de octubre, nuestras familias de BHS contribuyeron
con un increíble desayuno que hizo posible que nuestro personal comenzara
la mañana en comunidad mientras disfrutábamos de la comida y la música
interpretada por algunos miembros del personal.


Tenemos un último día de desarrollo profesional para todo el personal el
próximo lunes 6 de marzo y nos gustaría preguntar si alguna familia está
dispuesta y puede contribuir a nuestro desayuno.


A diferencia del último PD, esta será más una comida para llevar, por lo
que pediremos café, jugo y/o cualquier producto para el desayuno que sea
fácil de manipular, como donas, muffins, croissants, etc.
