[BHS Etree] LIBRARY: Please Return Overdue Library Books Before Break

Dear BHS Families,

Please make a plan to find and return any overdue library books before
winter break. Students can check their emails for a message from "
busdlibraryservices at berkeley.net" that comes out every Wednesday. We have
many books checked out at the beginning of the year that are currently
marked as "lost". Our system assesses a replacement fee that is cancelled
as soon as the book is returned, and there are no "late" fees. Books can be
returned to the library before school, at lunch time, or after school
(during finals we close at 3:30.)

For sophomores, juniors, and especially seniors, please also check for lost
textbooks. These overdue books are also listed in the weekly emails. If you
have any questions, please contact any of the library team for help. We are
willing to work with your student to deal with lost books. Students have
the option of paying lost book replacement fees or replacing the book
directly, which can often be cheaper.

Seniors: your overdue books need to be cleared for Prom and Grad tickets so
it would be good to take care of these issues early!
