Dear Students and Families/Guardians,

We are excited to invite you to Homecoming Dance 2022, Saturday, October 15, 2022 8:00pm-11:00pm

We are looking forward to a safe and fun event for all. 

Please see the expectations for attendance and behavior (below) required for all students

Attendance Expectations
We want everyone to be able to attend, so please monitor your attendance on Infinite Campus to stay eligible. 

What will keep you from attending Homecoming?
Students who have 2 or more CUTs on their record
Students who have 30+ period unexcused absences 

How do you get removed from the no-go list?
To be removed from this list, students must attend tutorial make-ups <https://docs.google.com/document/d/1XYtApFss_cgD2DQpAJYlK6QVObrxnHdDuSRCLePXxeQ/edit> either after school or on Saturday School  <https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSffbd47ScdUvagwLnhC5FXna6GyPrtetkVieGVdrmOQppnqhQ/viewform>on October 1, 2022 from 9am to 12pm. 

10/1 is Saturday School - last opportunity to clear for Homecoming approval 

Behavior Expectations

No suspensions in the month of October, 2022
A current, valid Berkeley High School ID required for entry to the dance. 
Admission denied/No refunds for students who upon arrival:
Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol or appear to be under the influence. A parent/guardian will be called. 
Are rude, impatient, argumentative, disruptive, or otherwise defiant.
A parent/guardian will be called. 
No bags, backpacks, or purses allowed.
Administrators will talk with your parent(s)/guardian(s) if there is a behavior concern and you are not following adult directions during the dance. 

Tickets 
 THIS IS A BERKELEY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT DANCE ONLY for 9th -12th grades, NO OUTSIDE GUESTS or VISITORS INSIDE THE DANCE or OUTSIDE OF THE DANCE. 

Look for an email from Mr. John Villavicencio, Berkeley High School Director of Student Activities about ticket sales starting on Monday, September 26, 2022. 

Our capacity is 500 students.
