Hello BHS Community,
This year at Berkeley High, we have partnered with Shafia Zaloom (health
educator, parent, consultant and author whose work centers on human
development, community building, ethics, and social justice) to provide
consent education to our students and staff. Now as the school year quickly
comes to a close, we wanted to provide one final offering of consent
education...and this time, it's for PARENTS! Please join us via Zoom this
Tuesday evening from 7:30-8:30pm for a courageous conversation on
talking to your teen about sex and consent. Shafia Zaloom will also share
teachings and real-life scenarios from her book (Sex, Teens, & Everything
in Between <https://www.shafiazaloom.com/the-book>) that will be provided
to the first 25 participants (for FREE!) after the event. This event is
entirely FREE for all participants, but registration is required. To join
us, please register at the link provided here
<https://www.eventbrite.com/e/courageous-conversations-how-to-talk-to-your-teen-about-sex-and-consent-tickets-344247101347>
 .

We hope to see you there!
