Incoming 9th Grade* BHS Athletics Team Informational Meeting



Tuesday, May 24, 6:00 in the Donahue Gymnasium

BHS will host an informational meeting for REGISTERED incoming 9th graders
and parent/guardians only.* Come learn about participating in any of the 29
Varsity (JV and Freshmen) teams, how to register for tryouts online over
the summer so you are ready for Fall/Winter/Spring seasons, and summer
sports opportunities. Many coaches will be in attendance. After a brief
presentation, you will be able to meet the coaches (kind of like a job
fair).

Many teams also workout in the summer. Fall sports specifically do a lot of
conditioning over the summer to get ready for tryouts: Fall sports have
tryouts beginning August 8th.

Berkeley High in the Fall. California Interscholastic Federation (CIF)
bylaws state that any student who is not currently registered is not
allowed to have pre-enrollment contact with Coaches and Athletics staff.
