 $20,000 Spring Match Campaign!



The Berkeley High School Development Group is excited to announce our
annual SPRING CHALLENGE MATCH CAMPAIGN of $20,000! This challenge grant
will double your contribution to BHSDG, up to $20,000, if you donate by May
29th!



We appreciate those of you who have already donated this year, and hope
that you will be able to make an additional contribution. For those of you
who have not yet had a chance, now is the perfect opportunity. Our goal is
to raise $40,000 with your participation at any level.

BHSDG funds essential programs, materials, and training at BHS, B-Tech, and
Berkeley Independent Studies. Some of this year’s highlights include:

   Free after-school tutoring staffed by classroom teachers
   -

   Equity-focused teacher professional development
   -

   Financial assistance with college application, testing fees, and first
   step awards to ease the transition to college
   -

   Community-building events such as the Carnival, A’s game field trips,
   and prom tickets
   -

   Club support for Mock Trial, Robotics, Financial Empowerment, and Power
   Through Voices
   -

   Asian-American Pacific Island curriculum development project
   -

   Chromebooks for the Multilingual Program
