Dear BHS parents/caregivers and students,

Due to the regional uptick in COVID-19 cases, we are strongly recommending
that all BHS parents/caregivers consider it is likely that their student
may be a close contact to a case this week. Masking is still an important
risk mitigation strategy and is strongly recommended by the California
Department of Public Health.

As such, all BHS students and staff are encouraged to test for COVID-19 at
least once this week. If able to do so, testing twice is encouraged.

In the last seven days, *24 *COVID-19 cases have been identified as having
been on campus while infectious. Please refer to the COVID Case Dashboard
<https://www.berkeleyschools.net/coronavirus/case-dashboard/> to see case
numbers on a daily basis.

*Student testing will be available at Berkeley High School on the following
days:*

*· Tuesday through Thursday (5/10-5/12) at 2:30pm-4:30pm*

Testing will be available at Berkeley Adult School (Entrance on Curtis
Street), Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm

*· Martes a jueves (5/10-5/12) a 2:30pm-4:30pm*
