Dear BUSD Community,

We are reaching out to the community to ask for support for our new* BHS
Family Support Fund.*

The BHS Family Fund would allow the Office of Family Engagement and Equity
(OFEE) staff to make direct payments to help stabilize families in need.
The funds would be directed to help with rent payments, diapers for new
teen mothers, payments for bills due to job loss, and more. Just last week
the OFEE staff was in communication with a family who lost a job, who lost
a family member, a teen who will give birth in three weeks, and two
families who are about to lose their house/apartment.  Please help these
families so we can help keep these students in school by creating a safer
space at home.
