The Jackets had a fantastic showing at the West Coast Scholastic regatta in
San Francisco on Sunday. The day started with a somber and beautiful
tribute to honor the crew member we lost last week. Berkeley High ended the
day with six 1st place finishes and swept the men’s and women’s varsity
eight races. The men’s 2V eight missed the top podium by a mere 3 tenths of
a second, making for an exciting finish. The entire team qualified several
boats for Scholastic Nationals and will be traveling to Camden, NJ at the
end of May.
