Hello Fellow Yellow Jackets,

We are excited to announce that *Unity Week 2022* will return this April
(4/18-4/22). All students & staff are encouraged to participate in the
buzzin' spirit days of Unity Week & the Spring Carnival.

We would like to emphasize the *Unity* in Unity Week. Unity, as a
celebration of our community in a uniquely Berkeley way. Unity, as a show
of school spirit that is mindful of our impact on others. Unity, as in you
and I, Berkeley High! U-N-I-T-Y!

*Staff*, as we build up to Unity Week, you can expect some suggestions for
community building activities to incorporate into the lesson plan for the
week as well as ways to encourage your students to participate. We really
hope you can participate in each theme day and get your class excited about
being a BHS Jacket.

*Students*, please know that we will end the week in style with an all
school *Spring Carnival* that will include inflatable obstacle courses,
carnival food, games, performances, & other activities. More details to
follow after spring break.

*Get Involved*: If you or your student club or other group, would like to host
an interactive activity or game at the *Spring Carnival*, please contact
Mr. V, Chloe Burke or Hanim Nuru.
