Reminders-

We offer testing for volunteers as well.

Testing of Volunteers: Volunteers will be given a COVID test by the techs
when they arrive, which the tech will read to be sure they test negative.
We are working with all the techs to more uniformly institute this
protocol, but please ask the tech for a test if you are not initially
offered one.

Prior to testing, volunteers must register with Primary Health
https://my.primary.health/l/berkeley_usd (select “Volunteer” as your
status). It is a relatively quick registration process.

Volunteer Role is a Hands-on Job: Volunteers work side-by-side with
testing techs, handling swabs, test cards and reagent liquid. Techs provide
training on the process on-site. A more detailed list of tasks will be
added to the Volunteer Opportunities document soon.

N95/KN95 masks are recommended: If you do not have your own, KN95 masks
are available for volunteers at the school sites (either from the techs or
from the school secretary). All techs have been provided with KN95 masks
by the testing company.

Disposable gloves, hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes for volunteer use
are at all tech testing stations: Gloves are provided in sufficient
quantities to allow multiple glove changes per volunteer as needed.
