contact shelbyck at youthspiritartworks.org.

Youth Spirit Artworks (YSA) is a jobs training program offered to youth
ages 16 to 24 located in Berkeley. YSA provides jobs training for low
income and at risk youth, using art as a vocational medium.
Participants are paid monthly stipends, which increase with
additional responsibilities. We serve over 150 youth per year by
helping them develop the skills necessary to secure gainful employment as
well as guiding them on how to improve their mental and physical well being.

We are starting our Winter/Spring Program January 10 - June 10, with open
enrollment throughout the semester. The workshops offered this semester
include Financial Literacy, Commercial & Fine Arts, Youth Voices=Youth
Power, and more! We have opportunities for youth to participate virtually
and in person, following all mandated COVID protocols. If you are
interested, please feel free to email shelbyck at youthspiritartworks.org.
Hope to hear and see you soon!
