PORTFOLIO DAY: 11/13/21 from  10-2:

The San Francisco National Portfolio Day is on Saturday, November 13th from
10 am to 2 pm at the California College of the Arts located at 1111 8th
Street, San Francisco, CA 94107. Proof of vaccination required.



UC PIQ WORKSHOP: Get information directly from  Ebelio Mondragon, UC
Berkeley, Assistant Director, Office of Undergraduate Admissions.



Join in on Monday during 6th period in the CCC (D221) via Zoom for our UC
Personal Insight Question Workshop.

APPLICATION WORKSHOPS: UC & CSU Apps Due by 11/30/21



You may work on college applications for a period in the CCC under the
following circumstances:



1. If your teacher has organized a flex/work period.

2. You have a free period- no class scheduled.

3. Your teacher excused you from class to work in the CCC on applications.

Mondays- November 8, and 15: Periods 1-3, 5-6



Tuesdays- November 9, 16: Period 1



Wednesdays- November 10, 17: Period 5



Thursday- November 18: 3:30-4:30 (11/11 is Veterans Day Holiday)



Fridays- November 12, 19: Period 6



After School with Ms. Julia Maciel in Library Computer Lab

Monday-Thursday - November 8-November 18

3:30-5:00pm



ESSAY READING IN THE CCC WITH VIRTUAL READERS: Jacobs’ Zoom Room

Bring a draft of a college essay or brainstorm- all levels of readiness.
Log on to Jacobs’ Zoom Room in a google chrome book or your personal laptop
in the CCC or any quiet place of your choice.  You will be assigned to a
breakout room with a volunteer reader/writing coach.

   Be currently enrolled in high school and graduating in the spring of 2022
   -

   Must have a minimum unweighted 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or 7.5 on a 10.0
   scale
   -

   Must enroll at an accredited higher education institution in 2022-2023
   -

   Be of Hispanic heritage (includes Spain, Brazil, Philippines)
   -

   If selected, attendance to virtual ceremony is mandatory
