Please do not reply to this email, contact MattAlbinson at berkeley.net with
questions.
The Changemaker Project <http://thechangemakerproject.org/> (a
Berkeley-based international nonprofit) is looking for nominations of
students with a passion for leadership and activism. The Changemaker
Project is a social justice leadership course, mentoring program, and
design challenge for teens.
Each week, students from around the world join a live course (Wednesdays @
4pm) to learn about social and climate justice issues, develop unique
social impact projects, and build community with other activists from
around the globe. Students are given the chance to win funding for their
projects at Global Pitch, and offered mentorship throughout the year as
they build and launch their projects.
Watch a 2-minute video <https://youtu.be/AF6l1bMaf3g> to learn more about
the program (featuring several BHS students!)
In order to participate, students must be nominated by a BHS staff member
by this Friday, Oct. 8th. If you're interested in joining, ask a teacher to
nominate you by giving your name to Mr. Albinson (mattalbinson at berkeley.net)
by this Friday, Oct. 8th. You can learn more about the program here:
