Hello BHS Families,

Are you interested in volunteering at BHS? We are excited to announce that we are now able to solicit interested individuals for the many opportunities we will have through the school year. 

In order to volunteer at BHS, either in a classroom or an out of the classroom setting, please see the information below. This message is specifically asking for those of you interested in volunteering on a one-time or sporadic basis. One of our most critical needs coming up will be to schedule volunteers at our front desk welcoming guests. 

In a couple weeks, we will be reaching out to all volunteers registered via the instructions below and ask if you are interested in volunteering at the BHS Front Desk. Our Parent Outreach Coordinator will then work with you on a schedule and training. We will also reach out throughout the year for other opportunities and you should feel welcome to respond when you are interested.

BSV School Support Volunteers: Parents and/or community members who want to support various school-related tasks on a one-time or sporadic basis.
Commitment: one-time, a series of visits, or a regular shift
Example Roles: BHS Front Desk (@ site), 1x Classroom Project (@ site), BSV Task Runner, BSV Ed Hub, BSV Supplies Assembly, etc.
Site Limitations: Role limited to one school (and one classroom) only. 
Requirements: Upload proof of COVID vax with BSV, then sign up for BHS role
Official Clearance: BSV confirms clearance via email to Volunteer and School Contact (listed in application), if applicable. Volunteer's name automatically added to "BSV Screened Volunteers by Site" spreadsheet to Principals & BUSD Leadership. 
Identification on Campus: Volunteers sign in/out at main office every time (for contact tracing) & get Volunteer sticker to wear
