[BHS Etree] ADMIN: How to drop/add a class & deadlines

Greetings students,

Starting today, if you would like to drop/change a class, you must fill out
and submit a paper copy of the *BHS Course Request Drop Form*, available at
the Counseling Office in the D Building. The online Schedule Change Request
form will no longer be available.


Please see below for important deadlines and information about the BHS
drop/add policy.


*WITHDRAWAL POLICY:*


*Students may apply to withdraw from a course up until Wednesday September
8, 2021, with no mark on their transcript. *


*After September 8, any drops will be indicated with a W (Withdrawal) on
the transcript.*


*After Friday October 8, any drops will result in an F on the transcript.*

*BHS POLICY REGARDING SCHEDULE CHANGES*

Requests for schedule changes should be made during registration week or
the first 2 weeks of school. A change request is only guaranteed if the
school has made a mistake or a student has been assigned the wrong level.  Most
courses are year-long, and students must select all of their courses prior
to the start of the school year.  Students may not change courses mid-year.
Students are not allowed to have gaps in their schedules. Students must
continue to attend the courses that appear on their schedule in Infinite
Campus until an official course change has been made and they are given a
new schedule. Students who do not receive an official schedule change
before attempting to attend a new class risk invalidation of an approved
change and may receive a failing grade in a course.


BHS MAY OR MAY NOT BE ABLE TO HONOR YOUR REQUEST.

Students must obtain a proctor to replace the dropped course.

Students may not drop an Honors or AP course.
