Downtown Berkeley YMCA-PE Waiver Program

Informational Meeting (Fall 2021)



This is an alternative P.E. program designed to help students obtain the
values and habits that lead to lifelong fitness. Students have to complete
a minimum of 60 fitness hours (combination of independent workouts, and
step tracker workouts) and additional program requirements to earn a
passing grade to receive 5 credits toward Berkeley High School P.E.
requirement. This program is for 10th – 12th grade students.



All interested students for the Fall 2021 program are required to attend 1
informational meeting, this includes participants from previous semesters.



Students are eligible to register for the Fall 2021 program once they
attend 1 informational meeting, AND have an active Downtown Berkeley Y
teen/young adult membership. A membership is required to register &
participate in program.



Informational Meetings via Zoom

Dates: Aug. 24th, 26th, 30th, and Sept. 1

Time: 4:00pm-5:00pm
