FALL SPORTS BEGIN on August 9th: 
 
BHS Families,
 
We hope you are getting excited for our fall sports season. Practices/tryouts begin August 9th.
 
Week of August 9th tryout/practice schedule
Cross Country: M-F 5PM, meet in the Jacket Stadium grandstands
Field Hockey: M-F 3-4:30PM, Jacket Stadium
Football: M-F 4:30-6:30PM, Jacket Stadium
Girls Golf: Wed 8/11 and Thurs 8/12, Tilden Golf Course Putting Green at 4PM 
Girls Tennis: 4:30-6:30PM at King Tennis Courts on Hopkins street
Boys Water Polo: M-F 4PM-6PM at Pool
Girls Water Polo: M-F 6PM-8PM at Pool 
Girls Volleyball: Mon: 4-6PM, Tue/Wed: 6-8PM Donahue Gymnasium
Crew: tentative start date is 8/30 (specifics TBD)
 
Athletes must be REGISTERED and CLEARED <https://sites.google.com/berkeley.net/bhsathletics/Resources/athlete-registration> to participate in practices.
 
All athletes (including returning athletes) must have a valid physical and register online through our registration system called FamilyID. INFORMATION NEEDED TO REGISTER**:
First time registrants should plan on spending approx. 20 minutes to complete the process. Have your Student ID number and health insurance information ready, including policy number. The Athletic Dept will clear athletes up until 1PM on Monday 8/9.
   
**Please note - students who fail to complete the registration process PRIOR to tryouts will miss the first day(s) of tryouts and practice and this can impact their ability to make a team or to play in games.
