Hello 2021 Grads & 2021 Grad Families,

For the Class of 2021 Graduation, we had been focusing on a car-based
graduation through the BHS campus for all graduates. More recently, we have
begun exploring an in-person format for smaller groups of graduates
organized by small learning communities (SLC) and cultural affinity
groups in our Jacket Stadium. We are aiming for a schedule of small group
ceremonies with limited guest seating to take place on June 4, 5, and 6.
The ceremony schedule will be finalized soon and shared so that families
can plan accordingly.

We are working with the City of Berkeley, B.U.S.D. officials,
administrative and teacher leaders, as well as our vendor to create the
best graduation experience for our students and families. As a reminder, we
are still planning a virtual ceremony that will feature the 2021 graduates
from all SLCs and cohorts. *Graduating students, please complete your

phonetic spelling of your name, and a few other notes about yourself by May

We are aiming for a healthy, spirited, and memorable celebration for the
Class of 2021 so please be on the lookout for more 2021 Graduation

We will host a procession of graduates during your graduation ceremony
later in the spring. You can customize your senior slide with a photo,
appreciation message, and a few other categories. This will be just one

capture memories for the graduates. More information about how to sign up

Senior Leadership will be sharing a link to purchase a Class of 2021 hoodie
with a choice of designs from your classmates. Purchase information
including financial support provided by a BHS Development Group grant will
be shared soon.

Be proactive if you know you have any missing or lost books.  The BHS
Library will be understanding of any difficulty with replacing lost or

Textbook Room Clerk. Seniors won't receive their high school diplomas until
they return all their textbooks and library books back to the textbook room
and library.
