[BHS Etree] ADMIN: SLC Lottery Process for 10th & 11th grade students

Greetings 10th & 11th grade students and parents/guardians,

If your student entered the Small Learning Communities (SLCs) Lottery to
change their learning community for the upcoming school year, you have now
received an email detailing your student’s SLC ranked preferences. Please
review your student’s SLC preferences carefully. If you would like to edit
your student’s SLC rankings for the lottery, please work with your student
to complete the process outlined below by this Friday March 26 at 4:00 PM.

To enter the SLC lottery or edit your current lottery rankings, please
visit this website to complete the lottery process:
http://friendofberkeley.com/bhs94704/ Students can enter lottery choices at
this website using the PIN they received via their BUSD email. If students
need another copy of their PIN, they must contact their school counselor.

If you enter the lottery, you only need to choose the SLCs you would prefer
over your current SLC. If you don't receive one of your choices, you will
remain in your current SLC.

The deadline for entering the lottery is March 26 at 4:00 PM.

Students who do not want to change SLC do not need to enter the lottery.
This message only applies to students who want to change their learning
community.
