1. Grant, Work study. Subsidized vs unsubsidized loans- what does it all
mean?

1. Chicana Latina Foundation: $1500 award. Due 3/31/21 for student who
identifies as Chicana or Latina, has lived in a Bay Area county for at
least 2 yrs, will attend full time college in a Bay Area county, will
commit to Foundation leadership and service projects/events.

1. Berkeley Community Scholars (BCS) High Hopes Scholarship: Open now at

2. Zonta International: Zonta Club of Berkeley :  For Empowerment of Women
Due 3/15/2021: https://www.zontaberkeley.org/scholarships Awards of
$500-$1500 to women pursuing college, experience with leadership,
government, volunteer work

3. Shelley Bergum Higher Education Award: Due 3/19/21 For Seniors with a
disability shown in IEP or 504plan, minimum GPA of 3.0, and going to
community college or 4 yr. College

4. Hearthstone Housing Foundation:  Due 3/31/21: Show financial need in
FAFSA or Dream Act, live in the county where Hearthstone Housing is
located, 3.0 GPA

5. The Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund: Due 3/31/21:
Primarily for Jewish families from SF Bay Area to attend college full time;

1. Society of Women Engineers: Due 4/23/21: Women or nonbinary or gender
non-conforming; pusuing engineering or computer science
