Berkeley Community, 

As you can imagine, the pandemic and distance learning has been uniquely difficult for BHS students, many of whom are now seeking paid work and/or valuable internship experience, especially for this summer. If you own or manage a business and are in need of workers, consider hiring a BHS student!  
Companies and organizations looking to hire interns or paid employees, please email James Dopman at jamesdopman at berkeley.net <mailto:jamesdopman at berkeley.net>. 

 
Include in your email: 
the position title and description
skills required
salary / hourly wage (if applicable)
weekly number of hours needed 
frequency of work (once or regularly)
Covid safety protocols (ability to work remotely, outside, etc.)


NOTE: Per U.S. labor law, any unpaid internships must benefit the student more than the company/organization to legally qualify as an internship.  See Department of Labor PDF for more information.  


Please send any flyers in a PDF format.  NOTE: Berkeley High School cannot refer students for work inside private homes due to safety concerns.
